HUMAN TRAFFICKING IS
the recruiting, promotion, transport, lodging, or intake of persons,
who, under the threat of force or other means (e.g. abduction, fraud, deception, abuse of power or exploitation of certain helplessness) are coerced,
for the purpose of exploitation (e.g. sexual exploitation, forced labor, slavery, or organ removal).
According to estimates from international organizations,
worldwide there are currently about 30 MILLION people
who are victims of Human Trafficking –
more than ever before in the history of mankind.
Human trafficking is a serious crime with unfortunately a very high estimated number of unknown or undetected persons because this area of international crime, along with weapon and drug trafficking, is extremely lucrative and fast growing.
