Thanks to numerous donors, we managed to successfully accomplish our crowdfunding initiative 2017 via respekt.net by end of December. We reached our target budget which enabled us to hire a trainer for our workshops on part-time basis. As a result we can facilitate additional workshop timeslots and provide even more trainees with a new occupational perspective.
A high class concert took place on November 11th, with artists like Clemens Schaller, Hemma Hollergschwandtner and Anita Krenn providing us with a variety of musical highlights. It also enabled us to introduce the goals and challenges of HOPE FOR THE FUTURE to our visitors in an informative and entertaining way.
With timbals and trumpets, a lot of vigor, power, and musical sensitiveness, the Bläser Philharmonic Karlsruhe created a wonderful evening. Director Christian Götting motivated his young, dynamic orchestra to top form, and that with a summer temperature of nearly 34C.
"It was inspiring that this grandiose music brought together such a large audience, as well as the concerns of Hope for the Future," said A. Staudenherz, founder of HOPE FOR THE FUTURE.
Additionally, the first products and bags, flower hair wreathes, and jewelry were great hits with the audience. The net receipts of the concerts benefited HOPE FOR THE FUTURE.
For three months now, HOPE FOR THE FUTURE has been offering diverse workshops as preparation for the job market. We are currently working with five women, all of them highly motivated to go down a new occupational path and to learn something new!
